The Word Alive continues to evolve as long term stays in rock / metalcore with their latest single ‘Eyes Above’.
Currently on the road supporting Ice Nine Kills, The Word Alive are bringing their new material straight to stages across the country. Following the current tour, the band will headline a summer run with fast-rising acts TX2 and Unwell, promising an unforgettable live experience and a deeper glimpse into what’s next from one of modern rock’s most enduring forces.
““Eyes Above” was one of the first songs I worked on last summer in Los Angeles on a writing trip.” Says front man Telle Smith. “I had the concept lyrically when I went into the studio and knew I wanted to bridge the gap between everything people have come to love about The Word Alive, but taking it up a notch. I felt like this song was a way to celebrate the history of the band, while also ushering in a new era where we are going to show the world we have no intention of slowing down. Hopefully people want to break their necks head banging to this one.” Says frontman Telle Smith.
