Poppy no shows set during Upheaval Festival

During todays Upheaval Festival in Michigan Poppy was supposed to play before headliners Gojira took the stage. For a nearly hour set though, the pop star turned metal singer never appeared on stage instead leaving her band to do a fully instrumental set. In a post made later on after the set, the singer stated that the smoke plaguing the midwest currently made her unable to perform.

Her band performing could be seen wearing respirator masks under their performing masks during the set. Fans watching though were left to just wonder what happened as it seems at no point was a statement given to those in attendance.

Poppy, post set, made a Instagram story stating she was unable to perform. This came after the band set however.
