Chris Lane gives Nassau Park Amphitheater a memorable venue grand opening

The town of Lowell, Indiana debuted its brand new amphitheater, Nassau Park, in the heart of downtown by welcoming country standout Chris Lane with direct support from Harper Grace on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Weather was the biggest story of the day, as off-and-on rain fell throughout the event, but that didn’t stop fans from showing up and bringing plenty of energy all night long.

Outside of the rain, Chris Lane delivered a packed setlist that included hit songs like “Fix,” “For Her,” “Take Back Home Girl,” “Big, Big Plans,” and his signature cover of “Dancin’ in the Moonlight.” Throughout the night, fans could be heard singing every word back to him, proving that the town of Lowell was more than ready for big entertainment in its own backyard.

There were a few standout moments throughout the night, including Chris Lane bringing a young fan on stage and singing to her while walking her around the stage so the crowd could help make it a memorable experience. The audience loved every second of it, and the smile on the little girl’s face was priceless.

However, that wasn’t the biggest moment of the night. During “Big, Big Plans,” a couple in the crowd got engaged while the song was being performed. Chris noticed the commotion from the stage and invited the newly engaged couple onstage to celebrate the special moment. The band extended the chorus one more time so they could dance together on stage, making for one of the most memorable moments of the evening.

Overall, the debut of Nassau Park Amphitheater was a huge success, and Chris Lane delivered an unforgettable night filled with great country music and memorable moments.
