System of a Down’s Daron Malakian stumbles upon cover band in Chicago and joins them on stage

System Of A Down perform in Chicago sold out tonight and tomorrow but guitarist Daron Malakian was in Chicago early to explore. When taking photos at Wrigley Field, he heard a band playing his music across the street at the legendary Cubby Bear. He walked in to discover SOAD cover band Peephole playing and he soon joined them on stage for a song in the greatest impromptu moment for them.

Let me start by saying none of this was planned. We had a day off before our show in Chicago & I went out to dinner & after I decided to go take some pictures around town with Greg Watermann. We didn’t plan on going to Wrigley Field, but we ended up there. pic.twitter.com/rPqD93ocCy
