Whether you like it or not, multi-platinum rock icons Hinder have proven unforgettable. Since their release of 2006 hit single “Lips Of An Angel”, the band has continued to release record and record. Today, they have released their seventh studio album Back to Life, which comes just ahead of a packed summer that will see the band’s 2nd headline tour of the year and a number of festival appearances including Louder Than Life, Aftershock, and Summer of ‘99 & Beyond. After shelving a full album in 2020, Hinder nearly swore off the idea of ever writing new music again.
“In life in general, it’s easy to become complacent and uninspired. That’s why ‘Bring Me Back to Life’ is such an important track, not only for the album, but for our band as a whole.” says drummer + founding member Cody Hanson.
“After writing an entire album and then throwing it away in 2020, we had become discouraged and decided that we weren’t going to release any new music, much less an entire album. However, as soon as we wrote ‘Bring Me Back to Life,’ everything changed. Sometimes, it just takes one special song to breathe life back into a band, and this song became the catalyst for the entire album.”
Hinder have also announced a special limited edition (500) transparent milky clear with neon green glow-in-the-dark 12” vinyl, available HERE. Vinyl and CDs will be available soon at all major retailers and online via Evil Teen Records.
