Twenty One Pilots celebrate their 15th #1 single with ‘City Walls’

Twenty One Pilots are celebrating another milestone in the bands history with the news that ‘City Walls’ has hit #1 on the Mediabase Alternative Radio chart. This marks the bands 15th #1 single tying them for the record with Linkin Park.

“City Walls” was initially released with the band’s latest album Breach, which came out September 12 via Atlantic Records. The track and its accompanying video became an instant favorite, with the video quickly notching the #1 trending video slot on YouTube. 

Upon release, Breach debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, earning over 200kalbum equivalents in its first week. This marked the biggest Rock debut of the decade and the biggest in 6 years. Twenty One Pilots also earned the largest vinyl sales week for a Rock album since tracking began in 1991.
