The Lemon Twigs Rock Chicago’s Metro

Published

on

The Lemon Twigs hit Chicago’s Metro on Saturday night (5/2/26) and put on a straight-up vintage rock ’n’ roll show. In a time where that ’60s and ’70s sound isn’t as common, they bring a style that really stands out from what you usually hear today. The whole set was high energy—tons of movement, switching instruments, and just showing how tight they are as musicians.

The setlist pulled from a few different releases but really leaned into their upcoming album Look For Your Mind!, with a bunch of unreleased songs mixed in. It was cool getting an early listen at what they’ve been working on, and those tracks already sound like they’ll hit.

The new record drops May 8th and is definitely one rock fans will want to throw on, whether that’s vinyl or streaming.

If you’re into stuff inspired by The Beatles or The Beach Boys, The Lemon Twigs are 100% worth checking out.
