Jennifer Finch, bassist of L7, passes away at 59

In sad news for music fans its been announced that Jennifer Finch, bassist of legendary punk group L7, has passed away. Finch was 59 and just a few days ago it was announced that she’d be missing the bands final tour along with a GoFundMe launched to help her during her battle with brain cancer.

The band announced the news via their Instagram with the statement “With a very heavy heart we announce that our beloved bandmate, friend, and fellow troublemaker Jennifer Finch has passed away today,” it read. “She had a long courageous fight with brain cancer and was loved by many wonderful friends, musical peers and fans worldwide. We love you Jennifer.”

Our thoughts go out to her family, friends, loved ones, and fans at this time.
