Film Review – Infiltrate (2026)

Infiltrate will fall in the run of action movies that go entirely unnoticed straight to streaming that have one solid thing going for them among an otherwise lackluster film.

We follow Agent Lily Chen, a government agent, who after her husband is kidnapped is blackmailed into assassinating various high ranking criminals to save him. The story here though is just fine until we get to the end. They attempt a twist in here that is otherworldly levels of dumb that made me laugh at how absurd it was.

The real shining grace is here is the action scenes and in particular Orphée Ladouceur-Nguyen as Lily Chen. You can tell she can really do the moves and did most of her own fight scenes and stunts. They kept good camera work instead of having too many camera cuts so the action looks great and its quite bloodier and move violent then you might imagine even.

Its just a shame everything in between is awful. The story is bland, the writing is borderline insufferable at points, and most the acting is either stiff like its being read off cue cards or as if they’ve never done it before in their life.

The fight scenes make it worth it on a watch but this isn’t anything to seek out too much. Hopefully Orphée Ladouceur-Nguyen can land a role in a John Wick type film of that caliber though and put her skills to work.
