Savage Hands out of Maryland are bringing an alt metal sound with their newest single ‘Power’. Tapping into a more rhythmic, almost hypnotic delivery, Savage Hands lean into a rap-influenced cadence without losing the bite of their signature metal sound.
On the band’s sharpened focus heading into this era, Mike Garrow shares:
“It’s been a long time coming. We’ve spent so much time searching within the music, ourselves, and the industry for what we want from all of this. Trying to define our sound. What we came to find is we had it all along, we just had to come with 100% raw emotion and conviction. Power is the first of many that illustrate what we want to be. No borders, no boundaries.”
Savage Hands parted ways with Sharptone Records in 2025 and promptly began working on assembling a new album. Joining forces with Oxide Records, the band is preparing to launch a non-stop wave of campaigns starting May 2026.
“We are excited to finally close the chapter on all of the uncertainty the pandemic forced into our career. This album has been a long time coming, and we are so extremely grateful for Wetzel and Anthony at Oxide Records for believing in us and pushing us to become the band we were always meant to be.” – Mike Garrow
