Wilson Fairchild carries on tradition.

Wilson Fairchild is more than your average country music duo—they are made up of Wil and Langdon Reid from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  These two have been writing, performing, and playing music together their whole lives.  They are also highly acclaimed songwriters, having started when they were both in their teenage years.

Along with recording their music, the Statler Brothers, Ricky Skaggs, and Dailey & Vincent have recorded their songs, covering a lot of ground in country, bluegrass, and gospel music.  They learned the craft from the best, as Wil’s dad is Harold Reid and Langdon’s dad is Don Reid of the legendary Statler Brothers.  The first song that they wrote together, What We Love To Do, was recorded and was a hit for the Statler Brothers.

You might say, they got their “entertainment chops” honestly.

They have several releases of original music, including an album named after their home state, called Virginia, and another CD called Country On, containing some originals and covers of country classicsThey pay homage to their dads with their Songs Our Dads Wrote.  They picked nine songs that their dads co-wrote and put their own arrangements to them. They learned how to play guitar by listening to these famous, and not-so-famous Statler Hits.  The CD called Statler Made offers Wilson Fairchild arrangements of the quartet’s biggest hits and other classics.

Along with singing and songwriting, they both know how to entertain.  Wilson Fairchild performs all over, acoustically or with full production shows with their band.  Once you hear their music, you are a fan. Once you see them in concert, you are a bigger fan.  You can check them out on their website: https://wilsonfairchild.com/, and check out the tour dates below to see if they are coming to an area near you.
