Prince Daddy & the Hyena and more announced for second ever No Earbuds Fest

The second ever No Earbuds Fest has been announced with Prince Daddy & the Hyena headlining along with the likes of Jer, Fime, and more. The festival will take place across two stages at The Echo in California on December 14th.

Several artists will be representing California, including East LA’s slacker-pop faves Yungatita, and Fime, whose new record Just Can’t Win (out September 5) sounds like Fucked Up meets Rilo Kiley in the best way. 

The fest will also mark the LA debut of Bones Shredder, the hooky, horror-tinged project from San Jose’s Randy Moore (Dan Andriano & The Bygones, Lektron, Teens in Trouble, Get Married). His debut LP Morbid Little Thing arrives September 19.

No Earbuds Fest flips the script on what an indie festival can look like. No desert heat. No VIP tent. No nostalgic cash grabs. Just incredible artists—many of whom built their own communities from scratch—getting the kind of spotlight they deserve.

“Our mission is to create the kind of music world we actually want to be a part of,” says festival founder and No Earbuds owner Jamie Coletta. “That means giving the stage to underground and underrepresented bands, platforming diverse voices, and proving that community-first, artist-supportive spaces can thrive.”

She continues: “I decided to bring back No Earbuds Fest this year because of a story a friend told me. He was thrifting in last year’s fest shirt when a group of fans stopped him: You were there? Are they doing it again this year? That moment reminded me why this fest matters. In an algorithm-driven landscape, people are still hungry for connection, discovery, and something that feels like their own––myself included.”
