OMNIKOLOSS bring a unique mix of electronic infused black metal and the band shows it off with their latest song ‘Splitmind’. This comes from the bands forthcoming third studio album ‘Quantum Fleshdrive’. The new full length is scheduled to arrive on December 4, 2026, via Unholy Conspiracy Deathwork.

In “Splitmind,” “Humanity hides from machines beneath ruined cities, believing that concrete, darkness and silence can offer protection. But the deeper the survivors retreat, the more the threat seems to move inward. The bunker becomes both a physical shelter and a shelter for the mind itself.” The band explains.

“Reality splits into two unstable layers: the world outside the skull and the world within it. Somewhere between them the border disappears. What begins as a story about hiding from machines ultimately becomes a story about losing the last private space a human being possesses: the certainty that one’s own thoughts still belong to oneself. There is nowhere left to hide. The mind may already have become part of the machine.”

“Splitmind” is initially situated sonically in metal realms before a synth-led arrangement begins to dominate over the sound. The track includes two vocal performances, one in English and the other in German. “One represents the conscious human voice, while the other is an implanted voice that has developed a life of its own through a neural interface. As the two begin to fight for control, the track escalates with them.”
