Published
1 year agoon
90s rockers unite because Collective Soul and Live are teaming up this summer for the “Summer Unity Tour”. This marks the first time in 17 years the two bands have gotten back together for a tour. Joining them on all dates will be Our Lady Peace and Greylin James Rue.
“+LIVE+ is thrilled to be joining forces with the amazing Collective Soul! The great vibes between our two bands on and offstage is something we have both enjoyed for years, and here we come in 2025! This will be a very special night of music for all of the fans; I know everyone is gonna get rocked and uplifted right along with us…come on out!” – Ed Kowalczyk
“It was August 1994, and we, Collective Soul, were on our way to Woodstock. As our van pulled up to the grounds, another one pulled up beside us and out jumped the band +LIVE+. We became immediate friends, exchanging guitar picks with each other as soon as we met. Since that day, the Ed and Ed show has been nothing but pure, genuine friendship, and rock and roll. We’re excited that 31 years later, we still not only enjoy each other’s company, but enjoy playing music. It’s going to be a fun summer sharing it with fans, friends and +LIVE+.” – Ed Roland
TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with artist presales beginning Tuesday, March 18 at 10am local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, March 21 at 10am local time at livenation.com.

“‘Graverobbers from Outer Space’ is one of my favorite songs on The Dark Overlords of the Universe”, The Ghoulstars guitarist Markus “Daddy Ghoul” Laakso says. “Horror movies are practically in my blood flow, especially quirky classics like Plan 9 from Outer Space. This song was written as a straightforward pile-driving tribute, though I can’t think of many punk rock songs that have a doomy C-part and güiro”.

Radiohead announce limited run ‘KID A MNESIA. Motion Picture House’
Published
2 days agoon
April 8, 2026
Radiohead fans get ready for a unique experience as the band has announced a limited run for ‘KID A MNESIA. Motion Picture House’. The experience is a large scale audiovisual installation built to house KID A MNESIA, a film comprised of the artwork Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood created during the making of landmark Radiohead albums Kid A and Amnesiac, set to a soundtrack derived from those original multitracks. Motion Picture House will also host galleries featuring full scale artwork by Yorke and Donwood from that era.
Fans will recall the KID A MNESIA exhibition directed by Sean Evans and featured on Epic Games Store and PS5, aptly described by The Verge as “unsettling and beautiful.” KID A MNESIA was originally intended as an experience in a physical space and while the pandemic necessitated Epic Games’ Unreal Engine transporting the project to a virtual world, Motion Picture House is an actualization of the original idea: an opportunity for audiences to be completely enveloped in the world of Kid A and Amnesiac. In the flesh, on a large scale and featuring a custom built 6-point surround system for which the music was specifically remixed, KID A MNESIA features a narrative designed by its creators—in Thom Yorke’s words—“in which a Monster is trapped in a derelict museum of the lost & forgotten.” Gorgeous, visceral and slightly anxiety-inducing, KID A MNESIA is an epic wander through the masterpieces that inspired it—a time and place that 25 years ago, Radiohead cautioned us to enter at our own peril.
KID A MNESIA will debut underground at Coachella’s brand new bunker… yes, it’s an actual 17,000 square foot bunker with 38 foot high ceilings buried beneath the Empire Polo Fields that host Coachella, specifically created for KID A MNESIA. All Coachella ticket holders are eligible to enter.
Following Coachella, Motion Picture House: KID A MNESIA will appear in a handful of cities across North America for a limited time:
May 6 – 31
Brooklyn – Agger Fish Building
July 30- August 23
Chicago – Cinespace Studio
October 27- November 15
Mexico City – La Maravilla Studios
January 14 – February 7
San Francisco – Palace of Fine Arts
Tickets to the above engagements are available Thursdays through Sundays in two-hour slots: 75 minutes for the audiovisual experience and extra time to explore the gallery and the surrounding space.
In an attempt to eliminate bots and third parties, Radiohead will use Fair AXS: designed to make ticket buying more fair and transparent. Fans are invited to pre-register at kida-mnesia.com where they will be randomly selected for the opportunity to access pre-sale tickets.
The pre-registration window is open now through April 12 at 11:59 pm PT. Fans must register during this period to be eligible for the presale, which begins Wednesday, April 22. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Friday, April 24 at 10 am local time.

90s NYHC band Maximum Penalty announce first vinyl pressing of 1996 album ‘Independent’
Published

April 7, 2026
90s NYHC band Maximum Penalty has announced their 1996 album ‘Independent‘ will be pressed to vinyl for the first time thanks to Flatspot Records. A unique band in that era of hardcore the band toured with all the legendary acts of the time and has been praised by the likes of End It, Turnstile, Hardlore, and more.
For its 30th anniversary this year, Independent will be available on vinyl and cassette for the first time ever, as well as CD, through Flatspot Records with a release date of May 6th. The album, now remastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, will also return to streaming services on that date.
Guitarist Joseph Affe remarks:
“Maximum Penalty’s Independent is the only record that has never had a vinyl release because at the time it was released on CD, vinyl was an afterthought. As we kept playing and putting out new releases, releasing Independent on vinyl was something we always wanted to do and here we are finally, 30 years later. Independent era was a great time in Maximum Penalty’s history – it means a lot to us to see that a newer crowd are discovering the record for the first time, it’s incredible!”
Maximum Penalty’s initial run spanned an impressive discography – Demo 89, 1995’s East Side Story EP, 1996’s Independent LP, 1997’s Super Life LP, and a number of tracks on various compilations including Blackout Records’ Where The Wild Things Are and Satisfaction Guaranteed. Maximum Penalty would emerge again in 2009 with the Life & Times LP (Reaper Records), carrying their sound to listeners new and old.
Independent lineup and recording credits:
Jimmy Williams – Vocals
Joseph Affe – Guitars & Backing Vocals
Mark Sisto – Bass
Darren Morgenthaler – Drums

The Neighbourhood Heads Back on the Road with their “Wourld Tour”
Published

April 7, 2026
Alternative rock band, The Neighbourhood, is officially back on the road following the release of their latest project ((((((ultraSOUND)))))) in late 2025, marking a new era after their hiatus in 2022. The band’s return has been highly anticipated, and now fans finally get to experience it live with their “Wourld Tour.” The tour includes over 60 shows, kicking off in Texas and wrapping up in California, while also making stops across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Beyond just the music, this tour already looks like it’s going to be visually unreal. The Neighbourhood has always leaned into a very distinct aesthetic, and from what I’ve seen so far on social media, the production design and visuals feel so unique and creative.
This is a show I’m really hoping to photograph. Their lighting, stage design, and overall mood feel like a dream to shoot, especially with how intentional everything looks. But honestly, I’d be just as happy being in the crowd and experiencing it as a fan. It’s one of those tours where you know the energy is going to be just as memorable as the visuals.
If you’re even slightly into alternative music or have followed The Neighbourhood at any point, this is definitely a tour worth checking out.
