Parkway Drive share video for new single “Sacred”

Parkway Drive has unveiled a melodic new track “Sacred“, which is the metal titans’ first release since their 2022 album Darker Still. The new single comes alongside an absolutely stunning sci-fi music video, by Third Eye Visuals and is the perfect lead in to their co-headlining tour beginning in June.
The new single features synth hits and visuals that feel straight from the Alien series, perfectly played out in the visual. “Sacred” merges their fast-paced, straight forward sound from 14-year-old record Deep Blue with the newer, smooth sounds explored in Darker Still to create a blend palatable for all their fans. Vocalist Winston McCall shares,
“The mission statement for ‘Sacred’ is pretty damn simple. An anthemic wrecking ball of positive energy. Our lives and the way we exist in the world has been pushed further and further through the lenses and frames of negativity and hopelessness. Obsession with everything we lack, everything we hate, everyone we blame, everything that keeps us down. We sell the unique parts of us most precious just to buy back manufactured pieces of self in order that we may feel whole again. ‘Sacred’ is our identity. ‘Sacred’ is our time. Never lose sight and never lose hope.”
The single comes at just the right time to kick off Summer of Loud 2025 tour across the U.S. and Canada, where they will serve as a rotating co-headliner alongside Beartooth, I Prevail, and Killswitch Engage. The tour will be donating $1 from each ticket sold to Living The Dream Foundation, non-profit foundation that helps children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate every day, regardless of their affliction.

Scene Queen is back with her latest single ‘Manicure’. No stranger to creating a conversation in the scene she once again proves why she stays a dominate name.
Along with the song, Scene Queen is premiering a new music video for “Manicure” that fights back against the patriarchy with vengeance Scene Queen-style.
SCENE QUEEN SHARES OF THE NEW TRACK:
“The song Manicure is one of many songs from a new era where I really went back to my roots. I got into the studio with as few people as possible and thought “if I could make Bimbocore again, knowing what I know now musically and personally, what would be different?” As much as I love the humour and pop sensibilities of Bimbocore, and plan on keeping those going, I realised I’d make the heavier parts even more jarring and rage filled. Thus, my angry song for long nailed divas was born. The idea came from a conversation I had in a bar in Nashville months ago with Joey where the song Goodbye Earl by The Chicks came on and he challenged me to write it from my metal perspective. So story wise, it follows a similar idea, if you could save your friend from a terrible man, wouldn’t you? It’s also very self aware in the sense of saying, yes I am beating up a man AGAIN in a song but it’s because they keep doing awful things.”
