CMLL Vs. AEW/ROH

June 17th, 2025

Non Title Match
Red Velvet vs. Persephone

This really wasn’t that good. It went way too long and was just not exciting.

1.5 / 5

CMLL World Tag Team Title Match
Los Hermanos Chavez (Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja) (c) vs. CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush)

This was a bit better but just didn’t hit how I’d have hoped for. Dragged a bit too.

2.5 / 5

Singles Match
Hologram (w/Alex Abrahantes) vs. Neon

Outside of a lame finish this was a fun match. Not as fast as I’d have expected but solid none the less.

3 / 5

Singles Match
Josh Alexander vs. Atlantis Jr.

This was okay. Some parts really didn’t look that great like one side was overworking to compensate but for what it was, it was okay.

2.75 / 5

Eight Man Tag Team Match
Hechicero & The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher & Rocky Romero) vs. Los Guerreros Laguneros (Gran Guerrero & Ultimo Guerrero) & Los Infernales (Averno & Euforia)

This was fine. It had its moments but just never really hit overall for me.

3 / 5

ROH World Title Match
Bandido (c) vs. Mascara Dorada

A lucha clinic here between Bandido and Dorada. Everything you’d want in a match and something that should be talked about for a long time.

Wrestling Review : Ring Of Honor On Honorclub – Episode 144 (12.04.2025)

Ring Of Honor

On Honorclub

Dec. 4th, 2025

Singles Match
The Beast Mortos vs. Komander (w/Alex Abrahantes)

A very solid match till the end. Not wanting either to lose before the PPV this weekend is fine but why do this match then even.

3 / 5

Mixed Six Man Tag Team Match
Marino Tenaglia, Philly Collins & Zoey Lynn vs. The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari, Stori Denali & Tony Nese) (w/Mark Sterling)

Squash

1 / 5

Singles Match
Sidney Akeem vs. Rosario Grillo

A few nice moves but really a pointless match on a show leading to a PPV.

1 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs. Ashton Adonis, Jake Omen & Josh Crane

Castle is on the PPV for a belt yet both ROH episodes this week sees him with the Outrunners in a 6 man squash tag match.

.5 / 5

Tag Team Match
Damien Reel & Damon Reel vs. Death Riders (Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta)

Yuta and Garcia as Death Riders fighting no names here. Nothing about the PPV, which is a common theme, and nothing really too special.

2 / 5

ROH Women’s Pure Title Tournament Semi Final Match
Deonna Purrazzo vs. Queen Aminata

Squash.

.5 / 5

Non Title Match
Mercedes Mone vs. Lovely Miss Larkan

Squash to just get More on this episode before the PPV.

.5 / 5

ROH Women’s Pure Title Tournament Semi Final Match
Yuka Sakazaki vs. Billie Starkz

This was fine as a main event but just sort of boring. Pure Rules stuff already can be hard to care about given the rules but dear lord was the finish here terrible. Billie cheating is fine but the way Sakazaki fell over her looked awful.

Wrestling Review : GCW – Highest In The Room 4 (12.06.2025)

Published

GCW

Highest In The Room 4

Dec. 6th, 2025

GCW Tag Team Title Match
Bustah And The Brain (Alec Price & Jordan Oliver) (c) vs. Krusty Krew (Dom Kubrick & Lucas Riley)

A very solid opener but thats it. I remember when Oliver was poised as the Indies next big deal and here he just felt sort of there. The shine has for sure worn off.

3 / 5

Singles Match
Jack Evans vs. Joey Janela

Another really solid match that was just missing something. A few super sloppy looking spots here where someone stood there randomly for just too long to allow a spot to happen. Evans being so far into wrestling and having not slowed though is something to talk about.

3 / 5

Tag Team Match
The Brothers Of Funstruction (Ruffo The Clown & Yabo The Clown) vs. Epic Shit (Epic & Rob Shit)

I hated this. I really don’t enjoy anyone in this match.

.5 / 5

GCW Ultraviolent Title Match
Matt Tremont (c) vs. Damian 666

Damian 666 is old and its really showing here. Tremont is a legend though and his 2025 run is one for the ages. This was fine for the clear limitations.

2 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Briyante Jr., Rey Horus & Spider Fly vs. Los Desperados (Gringo Loco & Jack Cartwheel) & Vengador

Very well likely will be match of the night. A 6 man lucha spot fest. Pretty much nonstop action here and even if it did go a little long at over 20 minutes it was a lot of fun.

4 / 5

Singles Match
Priscilla Kelly vs. Vipress

This was fine at its very best. Too much down time and playing to the crowd with slow moments.

2 / 5

Three Way Match
Bobby Flaco vs. Starboy Charlie vs. Cobre

A solid 3 way that kept it short and fast paced. Good to see Charlie still going.

3 / 5

Death Match
Ciclope vs. Drew Parker

Ciclope got cut badly on that pane of glass. Still not huge on needle spots though but these two went all out here and gave a crazy bloody deathmatch.

4 / 5

GCW World Title Match
Atticus Cogar (c) vs. Effy

Effys title run has been mediocre and forgettable at best. This match overall was fine even if I hated the final. Atticus deserves a title run though.

Episode 149

Jan. 8th, 2026

Tag Team Match
Jay Alexander & Will Allday vs. CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush) (w/Lacey Lane)

Ace Austin is good but taking 8 minutes against Solo on ROH isn’t doing him favors.

2 / 5

Mixed Tag Team Match
Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty & Trish Adora) (w/Anthony Ogogo & Shane Taylor) vs. SkyFlight (Darius Martin & Zayda Steel) (w/Christopher Daniels)

Feels like Lee has really dropped down to a nothing level here.

1 / 5

Tag Team Match
Reiza Clarke & Shay KarMichael vs. MIT (Billie Starkz & Diamante)

Squash

1 / 5

Mixed Six Man Tag Team Match
Delynn Cavens, Demo Diamond & Rachael Ellering vs. The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari, Stori Denali & Tony Nese) (w/Mark Sterling)

A whole lot of nothing but commentary puts over Ellering to a degree.

1 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs. The Frat House (Cole Karter, Griff Garrison & Preston Vance) (w/Jacked Jameson)

Fine squash really. Dalton continues to feel like he should be doing more and I wonder if The Outrunners have lost all steam.

2 / 5

Tag Team Match
The Von Erichs (Marshall von Erich & Ross von Erich) vs. MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden) (w/Johnny TV & Taya Valkyrie)

Another nothing match really that shows just how bland the Von Erichs are. Living off that name and couldn’t have less charisma.

1.5 / 5

Singles Match
Sammy Guevara vs. Kiran Grey

Guevara is always good in ring but like some others I feel he’s just sort of stuck in a limbo right now.

1 / 5

Tag Team Match
Adam Priest & Tommy Billington vs. The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) (w/Jay Lethal)

A good match to close the show. Fun action, some close calls, and good moves here send us off on a happy note.

Saturday Night Main Event

John Cena’s Final Match

Dec. 13th, 2025

Non Title Match
Cody Rhodes vs. Oba Femi

I hate the ending even if I totally get it. You can’t have either guy here lose. The 8 minutes of match though here was great. Oba is gonna be a monster on main roster if done right and Cody was a great guy to face as his technical main roster debut.

3.5 / 5

Singles Match
Bayley (w/Lyra Valkyria) vs. Sol Ruca (w/Zaria)

Ruca is going to be a big deal on the main roster and this match shows it. The ending was fantastic and the entire match had a great pace and showcased her well.

3.75 / 5

Non Title Tag Team Match
AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater

What a hot start to the match. This stayed pretty fast overall and was a lot shorter than expected even. A fun hot match though.

3.5 / 5

Singles Match
John Cena vs. Gunther

The finish to this match will be talked about for years. Gunther is now a legend killer. Cena tapping I totally understand but can also see why people are so upset. As a match itself it was fine, nothing special. Cena isn’t giving classics anymore and Gunther did his best to hold it together.

Samhain 3 : Part 2

Jan. 6th, 2026

Singles Match
Kerry Morton vs. Damian Fenri

A fine match and thats it. Commentary was putting Kerry over a lot but this just wasn’t anything great.

2 / 5

Singles Match
Mims vs. Nihan

A match where really nothing happened at all.

.5 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Casket Match
Aron Stevens & The Drakes (Carson Bartholomew Drake & Lockjaw Drake) vs. The Lost (Alex Misery, Gaagz The Gymp & Lev) (w/Father James Mitchell)

What a train wreck in the worst way. So much interference with random masked guys.

.5 / 5

NWA National Title Match
Mike Mondo (c) vs. Wrecking Ball Legursky

Mondo looks great for his age and moved really well too. A solid match here that by NWA standards for the last 2 episodes looks like a classic.

NWA Powerrr

Samhain 3 Part 1

Dec. 30th, 2025

Singles Match
Haley J vs. Sirena Veil

Never was a Haley J fan and this didn’t help at all. A very sub par womens match.

1.5 / 5

Tag Team Match
The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs. The Hard Way (Dalton McKenzie & Jack Vaughn)

The Good Brothers are debuting in yet another promotion. Karl looks worse than ever and Doc misses connecting the right way with a boot. Jack Vaughn deserves better.

1.5 / 5

Empty Arena Tag Team Match
Hunter & Tyler Franks vs. Nightmare Syn (Frank & Zyon) (w/Austin Idol)

Not sure why you need an empty arena match done in not an arena and in the middle of what is suppose to be a PPV show, but sure. This was awful.

.5 / 5

Singles Match
Matt Cardona vs. Daisy Kill

Most this match seemed to filler pandering to the crowd because what was pretty much a squash.
