The Two Lips announce Kiss & Tell Tour

Published

on

By Morgan Holzer

The Two Lips (formerly known as The Tulips) are a cutesy pop girl group that’s been gaining a lot of attention lately. You might’ve heard their most popular song, “still love you (todavía).” Andrea and Jewlz often hop on TikTok live and jam with fans using their omnichord, giving an intimate, stripped-down feel to their music. Their sound is heavily inspired by The Marías—layered harmonies, dreamy production, and smooth vocals.

It’s been really fun watching them grow into their sound and their vision. And it helps that they’re backed by an incredible creative director. Jizelle Maia, who works with Capitol Music, just gets it. She’s behind the girls’ vibrant merch, cover art, and overall aesthetic, and she never misses when it comes to that perfect mix of camp and cool.

The duo recently announced their Kiss & Tell Tour, with a run of shows primarily across the West Coast. Hoping they’ll expand it soon, but here’s where they’re headed for now:

07/28/25 – Tucson, AZ

07/29/25 – Phoenix, AZ

07/30/25 – San Diego, CA

08/01/25 – Los Angeles, CA

08/03/25 – Bakersfield, CA

08/04/25 – Templeton, CA

08/05/25 – Fresno, CA

08/07/25 – Sacramento, CA

08/08/25 – San Francisco, CA

Not only is their music cute, catchy and perfect to sing and dance to, but Andrea and Jewlz are also just really kind and down to earth. At some shows, when fans couldn’t get in, the duo performed outside the venue so no one felt left out.

It’s not just the music that pulls you in. It’s the people behind it. In a world where liking the art doesn’t always mean you can stand by the artist, they make it easy to do both.

Gods Hate and company has had quite the weekend. Brody King wrestled at AEWs PPV and Gods Hate played Sound & Fury fest as well. The group which has risen in popularity sporadically plays shows as all members have 100 other projects at once.

The band said ‘The Job Is Finished…For Now’ as they kicked off their set. They made sure their going away set was one to remember with a surprise reunion with members of Carry On.

Carry On, the California hardcore legends who released one album, 2001’s A Life Less Plagued, hasn’t played since 2005. Two former Carry On members — singer Ryan George, currently of Youth Code, and guitarist Todd Jones, currently of Nails — joined God’s Hate to play “Off My Chest.”

Tom Morello releases new song ‘Pretend You Remember Me’

Published

on

Ahead of his solo album debut Tom Morello has dropped a new song ‘Pretend You Remember Me‘. In the video, freed political prisoner Leonard Peltier delivers a powerful message on immigration. Tom directed the video which features Peltier as well as political footage with Tom singing in the midst of LA among women, children and men being affected by the ICE raids.

Tom says, “This song is written for all the families torn apart by the recent immigrant purges and kidnappings. Children torn from their wailing mothers’ arms by masked government thugs, people coming home to find their loved ones abducted by the state. Folks who worked, suffered, and struggled for decades just to make a decent life for themselves and their family were violently separated with an uncertain future. “Pretend You Remember Me” is for them and for all those who are finding the courage to stand up against racism, tyranny, and injustice.”

Boys Like Girls announce run of summer tour dates

Published

on

Boys Like Girls are having a busy summer with the Jonas Brothers tour and has now announced another run of headlining and festival dates. The band since returning in 2023 has been welcomed back with open arms and seems to be staying consistently busy.

“There’s something romantic about the in-between, the motels with busted ice machines, and kids holding hand-painted signs in cities the agents and ‘A market’ runs forgot existed,” the band says. “We didn’t. We remembered. Carving up North America one last time on a record cycle that brought us around the globe three times and back. This time, a heap of dates supporting The Jonas Brothers, a couple festivals, and headlining dates in between. Two stadiums, 9 arenas, 9 amphitheaters, six festivals, five clubs…from July to October. From dive bars to domes. From basements to bleachers. This ain’t nostalgia. It’s a celebration of survival. Of coming back swinging when the world forgot you were in the ring. See you on the road.”

Various artist pre-sales are running at this time. Packages are available here

General tickets go on sale on Friday, July 11 at 10am local time. Get tickets here.
