The Fillmore – Detroit, MI – August 13, 2025
The Worldwide Hysteria tour rolled into Detroit for a two-night stop on August 12, 2025, as part of a massive 54-date global run. Rising pop star Jessie Murph, embarking on her first world tour, packed The Fillmore with a sold-out crowd of nearly 3,000 fans. After her initial Detroit show sold out quickly back in May, a second date was added to meet the overwhelming demand. With opening support from Jorjiana, the night proved to be one for the books.
The show opened with “Gucci Mane,” “1965,” and “Touch Me Like a Gangster”—three tracks from her latest album, Sex Hysteria. The crowd’s enthusiasm was immediate and electric. During “Gucci Mane,” Jessie was visibly moved to tears as fans shouted the lyrics back to her. Both “1965” and “Touch Me Like a Gangster” have taken off on TikTok, making them clear crowd favorites on this tour.
One of the night’s standout moments came when Jessie debuted an unreleased emotional song “Certain Kind of Love,” which brought many in the audience to tears. Later, in a heartfelt surprise, she invited a lucky fan on stage to perform a duet of “I Would’ve,” creating a three-minute show-stealing moment.
The set continued with hits including “While You’re at It,” “Heroin,” and a shortened version of “Wild Ones.” A memorable highlight came when one of Jessie’s lead dancers hoisted her onto his shoulders and made his way through the crowd during “Couldn’t Be Worse,” offering fans an unforgettable, up-close experience.
Jessie closed the night with her biggest hit to date, “Blue Strips.” Originally released in April 2025 ahead of Sex Hysteria, the track became her highest-charting single, peaking at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. As dancers tossed fake $100 bills into the crowd, the energy inside The Fillmore surged, with fans belting every word in what felt like a collective outpouring.
Jessie Murph returns to the stage at The Fillmore on August 14 for her second Detroit show before wrapping up the remaining U.S. tour dates and heading overseas this October as part of the Worldwide Hysteria tour.
