The Callous Daoboys have one of the most anticipated albums from both critics and fans together for 2025. Knowing for mixing genres with a flurry of chaos and melodic brilliance they show their melodic side in full with their latest single ‘Distracted By The Mona Lisa’.
Today’s drop leads to the grand opening of The Museum Of Failure with the release of the band’s highly-anticipated forthcoming album ‘I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven’ out on Friday, May 16. When asked about the inspiration behind the track, vocalist Carson Pace shared:
“There have been countless times in my life where I have felt married to my passion. It’s been detrimental, painful, and has forced me to sacrifice a normal life. This song is me committing to being married to that passion, regardless of the consequences. It’s less a spit in the face of normality, and more a love letter to my own band.“
The journey through The Museum Of Failure began with the visceral, full-force energy of “Two-Headed Trout/The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog“, followed by the striking reveal of “Lemon“, where pop harmonies danced with heaviness.
