Los Angeles-based indie-pop band The Strike will be in Chicago with The Fray on August 15th at the Chicago Theatre. The band will be performing new music off their latest album A Dream Through Open Eyes, which dropped in October of 2024. Fans can expect big, synth-driven pop melodies that channel the energy of the ‘80s, all while staying fresh with a modern twist. Along with their signature synth sounds, massive, feel-good choruses that uplift the listener are a staple of their live show. Fans of bands like The 1975, Walk the Moon, or St. Lucia will find plenty to love with The Strike.
“A lot of our music is very upbeat and major-sounding and…we’re not afraid of that,” says David Maemone, guitarist-keyboardist.
