C2E2 con in Chicago continues to their trend of bringing in rare and major names with the announcement that the convention will see a reunion of The Breakfast Club. This comes as the film is about to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The reunion will bring together Molly Ringwald (The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles), Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science), Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire), and Ally Sheedy (The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, Psych) for a special live taping of the popular podcast Happy Sad Confused, hosted by Josh Horowitz on Saturday, April 12th, 2025.
Hall will appear the full C2E2 weekend for Autographs and Photo Ops, while Ringwald, Nelson, and Sheedy will appear on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. Photo Ops and Autographs for C2E2 are on sale to Superfan members now and will be onsale Thursday, February 13 at 12:00 PM CT to the public. Fans who are unable to attend in person can participate in send-in autograph opportunities through ReedPop’s exclusive autograph partner, Signet Collectibles, until March 25, 2025.
The Breakfast Club cast joins previously announced guests including The Lord of The Rings stars Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, Sean Astin, and John Rhys-Davies; Futurama cast members Billy West, Phil LaMarr, John DiMaggio, and Katey Sagal; Outlander’sSam Heughan, David Berry, and Charles Vandervaart; Critical Role’s Ashley Johnson, Laura Bailey, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Matthew Mercer, Sam Riegel, Taliesin Jaffe, and Travis Willingham; and the casts of Robocop, Starship Troopers, Red Dead Redemption and Baldur’s Gate 3. Tickets for C2E2 2025 are on sale for the general public, with multi-day and single-day options available. Fans who purchase a C2E2 Superfan Membership will also have digital access to the event.
