Fans who packed the Salt Shed on September 19th were treated to an unforgettable night as Big Wild took the stage. The electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist arrived in Chicago fresh off the release of his latest album, Wild Child. While the crowd soaked in his new material, longtime fans were also rewarded with nostalgic throwbacks to earlier projects like Invisible and Superdream.

Big Wild pulled out all the stops on Friday night, showcasing the full breadth of his musical talents. Throughout the set, he effortlessly switched between singing, playing keys, drum pads, and even the cajón — which may have delivered the standout moment of the evening. At one point, he and his drummer engaged in a fiery back-and-forth of percussion solos on the cajón and drum kit, igniting the crowd with an intense wave of energy.

If you’re looking for a night full of dancing, vibrant visuals, and catchy lyrics you can sing along to, Big Wild is an artist you won’t want to miss on this tour.

The tour runs through mid-October, with upcoming stops in cities like Minneapolis, Kansas City, Boulder, Denver, Salt Lake City, and more.
